Hi, I’m Philippa, creator of Isle Craft Flowers

With over 30 years experience in floristry, including over 20 years running my own floristry business, I now want to share my passion, skills and experience with like-minded people, hosting monthly floral workshops at my home on the Isle of Sheppey.

 

Workshop groups are small, 4 or 5 people, held on afternoons, evenings and Saturday mornings. I aim to create a very low-key relaxed format, we chat with a cuppa before the workshop begins.

 

We all live in some way or another very busy and sometimes stressful lives, especially in the current situation. The classes are an opportunity for YOU-time, to chill out in an informal relaxed environment while learning skills to enable you to arrange flowers for you or that special relative or friend.

 

So far, my classes have covered basket arrangements, hand ties in water, dried flower wreaths, flowers in a pumpkin, Christmas wreaths and wedding flowers. I always strive to keep up to date with latest trends, keeping classes fresh and rewarding and ensuring that you are proud of your achievements when you take them home.

 

All flowers and materials are provided, along with an apron. With my knowledge of the floristry trade, I purchase the best fresh flowers, conditioned ready for your class, from a trusted wholesaler. I am now also starting to grow flowers from seed in my garden, which I hope to include in classes in the coming months during the growing season.
